Manila Shoe Expo

So I passed by Shoe Salon in Eastwood, and saw this shoe. …I went inside to check it out. The price is Php 2,800+. And when I asked if they have a different color, the lady said they don’t. What do you think? I think it’s red. And sporty. And it seemed really comfy, though i didn’t try it because i was too lazy to untie and tie my laces. But it seems durable, really. You know anyone who owns a pair of these? Well, I think it’s the kind of flats that wouldn’t make you feel the ground too much once you walk around wearing it even if you’re not wearing socks.

I’m sorry about the photo, I know it’s a lousy photograph. I was in a hurry at that time. But let me describe it further… It’s not entirely made of leather or rubber. The sole was rubber, and as you can see there are stripes of the “wet-look-leather” material (what do you call that,..charolle? Charol? ). But anyway, one good thing about it is that the rest of it should cover your foot with a kind of textile that seems to be strategically woven. It’s similar to the fabric in my Nike ACGs. This material was obviously made for more
foot-breathing-privileges.

I think this would look good with a pair of short shorts…or dark denim capris…or maybe even a cute pair of those sassy jogging pants. All in all, I think this shoe is comfy & sporty -yet stylish for your average sporty lay-deh.
