Manila Shoe Expo

Someone forwarded a link to me. It’s about painting/beading services here in Manila for shoes made of canvas. From the pictures I saw, it was pretty obvious that textile paint was home-madely hand-painted on the canvas. However, I took some of those which I think are worth paying for. The soccer balls look really neat. The Justice League appears to be like something that you would see in Shoe Salon. And, hey, it was a great idea to have your vans slip-ons painted too! It’s true, there’s just too many of those who wear the black & white checkered prints! For the beaded shoes, there weren’t pictures posted in the site, but I think it would look more elegant and fun—for girls, of course.

The labor alone would cost you 400-800 Pesos for the painting, and 600-1000 Pesos for the beading. What if I want it both painted and then beaded??? I don’t know…! Haha! Hmmmmm… that would be interesting… The best part is making your own design! Why don’t I give you suggestions:

1. the name of your crush
2. a caricature of your crush’s face
3. the name of your hatest boyband
4. an anarchy symbol!
5. your full name (especially if yours is long and Spanishly)
6. toilet papers
7. a family of monkeys
8. headphones that has a satellite
9. three stripes on the sides
10. an IBM logo
